RedLink is delighted to announce the appointment of Kent R. Anderson as its new Chief Executing Officer effective from April 4, 2016. Kent brings in years of experience in the publishing space and is a name to reckon with in the industry. You can find the press release of the announcement here.

Kent is a past-President of the Society for Scholarly Publishing, the founder of the Scholarly Kitchen, and a member of the Journal Oversight Committee of the Journal of the American Medical Association. He was formerly a publisher at AAAS/Science, guiding it through its first acquisition in decades and secure Board approval for two new journal launches. Prior to that, Anderson was the CEO and Publisher of The Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery and its parent company, STRIATUS, where he grew revenues in the orthopaedic publishing market at an impressive rate.

Kent is a proven leader in driving editorial, revenue, product line, and strategic growth for academic, scholarly, and scientific publishers. Some of his notable contributions include creating the first PowerPoint slide sets in an online journal, launching early e-only journal publishing programs, and pioneering rapid-publication approaches.
